The sensor mounting box is made of high quality steel, black powder coating finish with high hardness and anti-rust. Guaranteed to endure even the toughest weather conditions.
The mounting box houses and protects the sensor system and is to be mounted on the rear horizontal bumper bar of the vehicle.
If a vehicle is is not equipped with a horizontal bumper bar, fabrication may be required.
For convenience, we have left the method of securing these mounting boxes up to you.
A few words of advice:
1. Use provided sensor mounting hardware to secure sensor to mounting box.
2. Keep loose until the aiming procedure is completed.
Caution: When installing the sensor, DO NOT use drills or impact drivers to tighten the bolts. DO NOT over tighten bolts. Over tightening the bolts will cause damage to sensor case.
